medium_0906papstbier.jpgRainy Day tasting of Papst-Bier. brewers Weideneder Tann, present a stout defence of their decision to market papal beer....because of the "close matured connection between the Church and the art of brewing," they say, "we consider it to be our obligation to appreciate the election of a Bavarian Pope in a Bavarian.

wow, pati pala si papa pwede ng ibenta, heheh. im just wondring if malalasing ako sa beer na to. its also surprising to know that the church agreed to market the beers. or is this strategically done for the papal fanatics who would eventually buy these.

ah basta ako....magpupulutan na lang.

swift

for the last two weeks, lot of things happen, like I now have this allergy thing (& its pissing me off), my lolo is still in the hospital for over a month now, family controversies and the “same-old-hackneyed tales.” it’s a bit frustrating that we wish to do stuffs however the opportunity is slipping out of our hands.

lately ang dami kong napapansin, im just not too sure if i discern this a little bit late or dala lang talaga ng sitwasyon. isa sa mga bagay na un, is when older people think that they are always right. as in ALWAYS! (ano sila mga customers?!?) i cannot pinpoint if bahagi ba to ng kulturang pilipino or saklaw lang ito ng tinatawag na “ego tripping.” siguro kung medyo bata pa ako, baka mauto pa nila ako & mapapaniwalang palage nga kayong tama. but as we grow old, we will be using more of our logical skills and of course common sense; we reached this age knowing what is good and bad. ang di ko lang talaga ma gets is when our parents, older siblings, or anyone older than us, will insist their viewpoints and will look at u as if mali ang pinaniniwalaan mo. i am not discounting them, pero para ipagpilitan nila sayo na tama sila for the reason na matanda sila sayo, well that’s crazy! i mean that’s bullshit. ok, alright, maybe im just pointing one word: RESPECT. kung paanong elders expect us to give it to them, we can also hope for the same amount of respect to be given to us lalo na pag nagkakaroon ng difference in our beliefs. i don’t believe that maturity comes with the age. but i know that for as long as we learn to open our minds, we will coexist with one another, regardless of age.

respect your elders. that’s true and i live it out up to now. however, we all deserve to be heard, to express what we feel towards some things. and maybe, juz maybe.....were right from the outset.
