ive been hanging around this new car racing game created by EA, which is also the makers of NBA Live07. EA has continued to produce some solid street racers under this Need for Speed Carbon. this game continues the story where NFS most wanted left off. Most wanted ended with you getting your stolen car and running out of the city of Rockport. At the start of Carbon, you can own a city and create your own crew. if ure after customization, this would be a recommended game most especially when it comes to details.

i thought at first it was like any ordinary boring car games, but when i started customizing my own car like painting it, choosing the engine, its tint up to its layout, cant stop playing. the learning curve in playing this game would just be around 30 minutes. so its not gonna be impossible if i keep NFS carbon in my game folder.

i find this Microsoft Surface very interesting, at one flick of a finger in your table, ur pics are already transferred to your camera. This product was announced last may and is about to enter the market some time in november. initial customers will be in the hospitality businesses, such as restaurants, hotels, retail, and public entertainment venues.

Isnt it cool? having this Microsoft Surface, your desktop becomes a computer. Amff parang gusto ko nito, heheh.

mahilig ako sa reality shows. oo, cuz it stimulates me. while the players are strategizing to win the game, ako man nakikisali rin. i watched the apprentice, america's top model and even the bachelor. sa panood ko ng mga palabas nato, its like im a part of the show, im already playing. im putting the situation if im on their shoes, what will i do, why do i need to make these decisions and if im strong enough to face the consequences of what im gonna do.

however, sa lahat ng mga reality shows on tv, for whatever reason, hindi ko nagustuhan ang konsepto ng pinoy big brother. eksyusmi po sa mga fans and supporters of the show but let me tell why i never like it to begin with. well, yes im watching it whenever i get the chance cuz im comparing it with other reality tv that i came across. here are some points na nakukulangan ako sa konsepto ng PBB.

1. theres a moderator and that's KUYA na nagbabantay sa mga housemates for 24/7. he gives instructions and punishments. may wild card pang bumabalik sa bahay ni kuya. the selection of the players are not random. the funny tasks that kuya is asking sa mga housemates. tasks which are obviously not part of everyday life. (so how come its a show of TUNAY NA BUHAY?!)

2. in some games, ang basehan ng pagpili is whether u are qualified or expert base sa desisyon ng main character or host or if u are skilled enough to win the tasks. in PBB its text voting, yes a popularity contest. kung malakas ka sa masa, pihadong makakapasok ka.

3. san ka makakita ng reality show na kung saan mas kinikilig ka pa sa kanilang love teams more than what they can really do. kadalasan ang mga sumasali or nananalo dun ay ang mga taong gustong maexpose sa tv or print ads.

4. the winner of PBB, well aside from getting big prizes, he/she will be exposed in tv for few times, and then poof they're gone. unlike in some shows like the apprentince, the winners are definitely gonna be managing an upcoming hotel business which is part of the Trump organization.

these are just some of my insights, and maybe may maganda nga sigurong influence ung show sa buhay ng ibang tao. nakukulangan lang kase ako pagdating sa objectivity of the game. if the show would really like to get a good pinoy citizen or is the interest of the show is to get good tv ratings?

believe it or not, pero may mga iba na nahuhulog sa scams na to. naiistorbo na sila dahil sa spam na pinapadala sa emails nila at nawawaldasan pa sila ng pera. so here are few tips that you may wanna add to ur list:

- if its overpayment, consider it scam. when doing money transaction, pwedeng baratin ka pero never mangyayari na oofferan ka ng sobrang pera. so never wire money to them.

- if u get an email about winning a lottery but u know to urself na hinde ka naman tumaya, well u know already what common sense will tell u.

- if the email asks for personal information, dont give our your passwords and most importantly credit card details. dont underestimate what these guys can do on this digital world. It is surprising that people actually fall for these schemes.  Even if you simply click on a link on the internet from one of these hoaxes, your computer can be compromised into being a zombie.  They can also retrieve other information such as your bank account number or steal your credit card information.

- if u dont know where the emails come from, delete it. if u dont know the sender delete it. it wouldnt hurt u deleting what u dont know.

a warning is best served when there are people who'll be listening to it. there u go, hope these things give u insights on how u will be able to protect urself on this digital age.

(well of course no one would admit that they do.)

but in all seriousness, if this gaming habit becomes a headache not only no the family but also to the community then i think medical attention is needed. abah kung hindi ka na nga naman naliligo at hindi ka na rin nagkakaen dahil sa walang tigil mong pagpindot ng controllers, eh nakow walang mangyayari sayo nyan. if the behavior of the child is getting worst after getting inclined with sleepless gaming nights, wag ka ng pumetics petics pa, consider them as victims of this gaming addiction.

whew, mabuti na lang mahilig lang ako sa games, pero hinde pa ako addict. (sign number 1: in denial! hahah)

currently im submersed with stuff running around my head, career, family, future, yada yada. this vex feeling is killing me. on times like this, i appreciate shopping for myself, hehe :P something i cant get over with. i swear im gonna buy that bag i saw in the store! but wait, i might have spent much but the problem would still be there, ohh too bad. :(

someone told a story about a good man offering his own credit card to be used in buying a plane ticket for a nun who needs to travel in a remote place to pray for a dying kid. the kid was saved and the family is looking who the guy was to thank him, but for whatever reason he cannot be found. they tried searching using the name he had given, using the credit card details but to no avail. according to them, that guy could be an angel. twas a long time ago since i heard a story like this. nakakatayo ng balahibo eh, hehe.

so right now im facing another stage of my life, at my age i should be thinking ahead of where i would really wanna be. at the same time, considering my real purpose here. im soaked with the idea that we need to think about careers, future family and all...but at the back of my mind i always ask myself, what for? what are these things for if we are not gonna be sure how long we will be staying here in this world? im not saying goodbye in that sense but im beginning to wonder now the impact ive created on the things around me and the people im with. im beginning to question if being perturbed is the result of my restlessness. argghh, i need vitamins!

in the world where atheists are dominating, cats are now bigger than dogs, beggars are now business owners, showbiz personalities become politicians, im still thinking of some irritating or laughable moments that i had. the world is changing but those wacky moments are still the same.......

I got a comment from my QA after the last conversation i had with a customer. For those who are not familiar with Quality Assurance Specialist, they are the ones giving scores based on how u handle the conversation, correct the errors made and they are hired to improve ur communication skills. So according to the scoresheet, I have one comment and it says there "very good reboutles" So since hindi ko kabloodline ang creators of Webster and Thesaurus, i search what the word means dahil not familiar to me. NO entry found in thesaurus.com. So now im thinking, hinde kaya what he meant is, "rebuttal?" I dont know, he's the QA, anyway.

NEXT. this is the movie im eyeing to watch. starring nicholas cage or cris johnson as the magician that has the uncanny ability to tell you the next thing to happen. after minority report, this is the mind boggling movie to see. cris johnson could be the key in averting a nuclear holocaust. if he doesnt use his power to back-channel through the right portals and chane his present, the future might be a thing of the past. Next stemmed from the 2002 seven spielberg movie minority report, shared the same executive producer and screenwriter. at kung paanong napaisip ako ng minority report and pinanood ko ng 2 beses, im excited to check this out if maiintindihan ko sa first screening heheh. nakakaloka ang mga mind boggling movies, i know, but im addicted watching it kesa mga pakyut kyut lang.
