Opposite Reaction
It feels hard mistakenly interpreting our actions. We are who we are and what we do. If our actions are opposite the norms of the society, we become the mockery in the office or even at home.
let us take for instance a guy who has shown a great affection to his lady friend, but the lady friend can only offer friendship. the guy continues to do his affections by doing special things to the girl, like maybe risking his own life for the girl. the girl appreciates it, but she does not want for the guy to keep on doing those things simpy because its uncalled for. the girl believes that there are lots of ways to show your concern and care for someone but not to the extent that as if they are boyfriends and girlfriends. the girl is affected by this situation cuz at the end of the day, its as if the girl is giving false hopes to the guy, some would think she is using him. they become the center of controversy in the office, everyday being teased.
the guy is pestered with the idea whenever the lady says that he does not need to do stuff for her. for the guy, its more than that, but he just cannot tell the truth. the girl wants to stop any special things the guy is doing simply because they are not in a relationship. the guy will simply stop for few days, when he is back, he will do those stuff again.
these are the victims of the common social perceptions. mockery begins from the people around, the actions of the two individuals are changing based on what the society thinks about them. the guy may just be too affectionate, but always being teased for his intentions. the lady is appreciative of it but she does not the guys action overdone.

yosi kadiri
even the greatest player, MJ himself, could not escape the controversy of cigarette smoking in San Francisco. The city happens to absolutely hate "smoking" and this happens to be MJ's favorite habit when playing golf. PGA received a letter from the Recreation and Park general manager Phil Ginsburg, reminding the entire team not to smoke since its illegal.

Anyone can get out of it with $100 fine, so I'm thinking Jordan could smoke enough to give the entire city cancer and he would still be fine.

FudTrip before the night of tomguts
twas only recently when we tried Stackers in Eastwood Libis, where I ordered the cheeseburger and caramel sundae. i like the burger and will try the rest of it, it tastes like roasted but the American cheese is a lot noticeable. As for the sundae, hmm so-so cuz its like a typical caramel sundae from a food-chain. its nice that Stackers got a branch here in Libis, cuz for someone like me who works here in Libis, we are wanting to have more food choices.
we tried this last saturday, the same day i got stranded. so technically this is the last food i had before ako magutom ng husto, heheh. we all have our "first-time" -- so first time ko sa Stackers at the same time, first time ko ding ma stranded...perfect combination. :P

Lessons from Ondoy
Sept 26,2009. I am one of the many who got stranded by this typhoon Ondoy, where East Rizal is declared to be in state of calamity. The sudden flow of water is now being compared to a flash flood that hits Marikina, Cainta, Taytay, Antipolo and other cities nearby.

It was a humbling, scary, life-threatening situation for me. It started at around 1:00pm when we walked from Floodway going towards Ever-Junction, kung saan hanggang bewang ang baha. The struggle began when we are about to pass St. Joseph subdivision, dun malakas ang agos ng tubig, the pressure from the creeks inside the village is too much to handle. I am one of the many who attempted to pass, almost die after maanod, but some good samaritans assisted you and keep you alive. I owe my life to God and to the people He used to save me.

We decided to stay in the 2nd floor of a commercial building waiting for any form of rescue or at least mapababa ang tubig baha. When I heard my mom's voice, dun ako bumigay...I cried and very scared about the near death experience, I'm like an inch to death. Im scared that my family is not ready when it happens.
The cliche na makabitaw sa lubid is deadly, dahil once it happened, mamimili ka na lang ng kababagsakan mo: manhole or pasig river. Isnt it ironic that in times of trouble, parang napakadali nateng makipag communicate with strangers...dahil at the end of the day, sila ang kasama naten sa hirap, we feel the exact same trauma. I met Paulo, Bryce, Aloha and Lany and we share the same sentiment about this disaster.
I appreciate my nice dinner, nice bath and a sound sleep. Its as if i miss home. Now i appreciate life more because I know that the reason why I wanna rush home is because there are people who cares for me. Thank God for another life to live to tell meaningful stories like this.
- More rescue boats, more people we can save.
- Invest in life vests.
- Trust your hunch. Stay somewhere safe.
- Give up material stuff. Value your life more.
- Go Green. Let us empower tree planting, we owe a lot from our nature.
- Love the people around you everyday, you will never know if you still see them around.
- Above anything else, pray because you cannot help yourself without Him.

pangatlong putahe
Sept 22, 2009 is the third blogcon session that features the makers of TunaynaLalake where we get to meet the contributors of this kwelang site. its clear that this group gets an accidental fame, they do not intend to make money out of their blog, they would just like to expose the kulitan publicly, and like me, they do not know whats going to happen with their blogsite, 5 years from now. the jargons they have on their website is very much like them, the website is their reflections, just being corroborated.
