one DAPSILOG please!!!

i am not accustomed being approached face to face. mahiyain talaga ang personality ko, khit hinde halata hehee. this weekend kase may mga newbies na naglilistening in sa mga calls ko, at the end of it, someone mentioned my name and biglang sabe "ah ikaw pala ung napapakinggan namen sa recording" --- this is not the first time ive heard of it, 3 batches na ang nakakapag sabe nyan saken that same line, im aware that some of our calls are being used as a guideline. pero syempre andun ung surprise factor na newbies seem to know me based on the recording they heard. ohh well i just hope that the recording is a good call, hehhe.

so yesterday, my officemates and i watched Angels and Demons. as usual kameng apat na naman na para bang group date, madalas kase this same group ang lumalabas every saturday. talking about the movie, since nabasa ko ung first part ng book, mejo hesitant ako dahil sa movie, naiba na agad ung first screen, its not my expected beginning. sasabihin ko sayo, comparing it with Da Vinci code, massabe kong mas may impact saken tong movie na to, siguro dahil mas realistic. i cannot compare the book and the movie in totality since hinde ko natapos ung sa book, but i might take some time to read it. realistic ung movie in a sense that it talks about stuff related to catholic church and how carmalengo, a priest was into it, that he created a demon on him. ung mga kwentong hinde mo aakalain na isang pari din pala ang gumagawa ng kalokohan para sa ikakasira ng simbahan. we all know that when it comes to religion, its a never ending debate. one side has to say against the other. im an agnostic, like robert langdon, who is still in search of the truth. overall, this movie is fine, not as spectacular as u expected, but somehow will not make u fall asleep :P

I finally purchased my lappy that ive been trying to get hold of. Its the MSI EX400 T6400 with ATI radeon 256mb of dedicated video card, 250GB HDD, core 2 duo, 2.0 GHZ and 2.0GB 667-DDR2 of RAM with an expandable slot to make it 4.0..isnt it nice :D This is the appropriate laptop for me since ill be using this for internet, some graphic applications and a bit of gaming. I choose XP though over Vista and the reason is obvious :P i dont wanna deal with performance issue this early on. i also installed different types of messengers, browsers, antivirus, adobe application and printer application. so far starting up and processing seems normal and fast. one thing i noticed though and maybe this is evident on all laptops, but its heating capacity is in a jiffy. overall, im excited about this new gadget, even buying accessories for it :D it feels good though buying the stuff that you wanted.

whenever im aiming to get a gadget, i always check its specifications before buying it, sobrang masusing pagsusuri, hehhe. siguro makukulitan ka na saken sa papalit palit kong pagdedecision. i realized one thing though, that the more i get into something, the better i learn from it. lets take for example ung specification ng laptop. ive been wanting to have this gadget and im close to getting it na. im in the process of considering which one is appropriate for my lifestyle and something i can keep for 2-3 years.

so im in the middle of comparing the benchmark of Intel X3100 and ATI Radeon HD3450. i understand now that if extensive gaming and photoshop projects will be done, then its an obvious answer that i shud take hd3450, the fact that its a dedicated video card, comparing with the built-in x3100. of course sellers, wouldnt tell u the things u oughta know, they will just say that this model is appropriate for you blah blah. so i now have a model in my mind, i checked the specs and similar to vaio F series, though not as pricey as that.

im excited to have it, just the thought of me pimping it, makes me go crazy about it. hehehe. just like this tech tote bag ill be getting soon. its cute, sleek and u wont even realize that its a laptop bag =)

nagsimula ang lahat sa simpleng lagnat, virus mula sa hayop at pwede ring galing sa tao, tinawag na "swine flu" or "influenze a" at ngayon ay tinatawag ng "h1n1 virus"

nag iiba iba ang pangalan, pero iisa ang tumbok, ito ay bagong saket na nagsisimula ng kumalat sa ibat ibang lugar globally. i do not intend to scare u, pero mahalaga na malaman naten to para alam naten kung paano to masasagap. nakaktawa nga dahil ung kaofficemate kong magbabakasyon sa US, niloloko nameng iququarantine sya para hinde makahawa. naalala ko nung nauso ang sars, unknown kung paano nagsimula at kung paano lubusang masusugpo pero gayunpaman nakayanan naman nateng mga pinoy. sa tala, wala pa naman dito nyan sa pinas, pero mabuti na ring mag ingat. sa sobrang kapapanood ko ng mga movies kung saan ang tema ay biological warfare, minsan iniisip ko kung ilang virus pa ba ang lalaganap, ilan ang makakasurvive at kelan naten to mararanasan...

sa kabilang banda, walang pakelam tayo sa mga ganyang saket lalo na kapag labanang boksing ang palabas sa tv. babad ang lahat sa tv, tapos mabibitin dahil sa dalawang rounds lang matatapos ang lahat. nainip tayo sa sandamukal na komersyal nung laban ni pacquiao at hatton. may konting disappointment, dahil puro bolahan lang pala ung mga usapan, kesyo 50-50 ang laban, yeah right....gayunpaman, wala pa ring iintriga sa pagkanta ni martin nievera ng pambansang awit, na ngayon ay kontrobersyal dahil banned sya sa loob ng isang buwan, meaning hinde sya mkakalabas sa mga stations or tv shows. sa totoo lang, hinde ko makuha ung point. sa dinami dami ng issue na dapat pag usapan, pati ba naman ang tono sa pagkanta nun ay gagwan ng issue. ang mabuti pa kumuha na lang sila ng 3 grade schoolers, at sabay sabay nilang pakantahin un.

as i was waiting for a ride to my work, an fx stopped by. from the signboard ung route nya is shorter compare to my destination, so hinde ko na sya pinara. however he asked if ill be in rosario, and sumakay na ako para makaabot on time. nung ako na lang ang natira sa fx dahil ang lahat ay short ride lang, manong began starting the conversation. he happens to be a volleyball coach and telling stories about his kabataan. im not really interested with conversation with strangers, and the fact that he initiated it, so im kinda quiet and repetetively saying, "totoo po un."

when im almost near my destination, he asked me if im catholic, and i said no. he began saying stuff that whatever we do, kelangan ng prayer. for the 2nd time, naramdaman ko na naman ung feeling ng pinapagalitan when he said, "tumatawag ka lang ata sa kanya kapag may kailangan ka, iha?" --- sinagot ko ang tanong nya only in my mind, that maybe i am, and too bad that i am doing that.

im not sure if he is used to relay that message to me whenever im losing track when it comes to faith. from time to time i meet random people like him and maybe all i have to do is to just listen.
