friday. just before my work schedule, I attended a seminar regarding Finance management c/o Colayco foundation headed by Mr. Armand Bengco. He discusses about wants vs. needs, the famous 80-20 where 80% is for expenses and 20% is savings, but of course these are all numbers, the idea is to get the habit of saving for every active income. He talked about active income and passive income, that a truly wealth individual is one who can afford not to work anymore but can sustain his way of life thru the passive income. Passive income may be in the form of investments or funds. More importantly what I learned from that session is that I have to start now, else I wont be able to battle useless spenditures. I also learned that the change I will tell myself is the change im looking for if i would really want to manage my finances. I also learned that not all debts are bad, that somehow me not having a credit card can be an advantage. i hope to hear more seminars regarding financial management, im now interested as to how to start working on my passive income.

saturday. the entire team went out together for breakfast @ Heaven and Egg where I ordered the 4 season pancake, at sa sobrang artistic nito, parang nakakapanghinayang guluhin at kainin, hahhaa...but anyway I ate it. at around 11am when we went to Paeng's bowling center, where our team is divided into 2 groups, we had two sets of games and we lost both, hahaa. but i enjoyed it though my right arms gets heavier at the 2nd match. enjoy ang asaran part. moreover, i think its indeed a fun time for us after a stressful week, tingen ko rin mag eenjoy ang family ko to this kind of activity kase pwede tong pambata. it was around 3pm when we arrived in World Music in Greenhills. videoke is a safe, common bonding time, oh i love the gambas and the burger is indeed a big serving. syempre hinde mawawala ang aming initiation for the newbies, wherein we have the boys dance like wonder girls, hahha! its almost 8pm nung umuwi na kame, i must say its the shortest, tiring kase kakagaling ng shift but fulfilling teambuilding. afterwhich, i just take a bath and had a sound sleep.

so u might ask me if i win those two days, what did i lose? monday. HR emailed me that my referral is being cancelled, darn the applicant backed out...nakalaan pa naman un sa WD external drive im planning to buy, oh well better luck next time for me. :D

ang pasko ay malapit na, dadami na naman ang mag kakadiabetes, dahil sa panahong ito, dito lumalakas ang konsumo ng sugar. katulad na lang ng magbukas ang Krispy Kreme sa may Eastwood Libis, pakiramdam ko hinahanap hanap ko ang doughnuts nila. masisisi nyo ba ako eh masarap eh? :p

for 2 consecutive days natikman ko ang doughnuts nila at muntik ko ng makalimutang magbayad este makalimutan ang pangalan ko. ooopss i know na dapat hinay hinay lang dahil traydor ang saket na diabetes. so for everyone out there, let us spend this yuletide season happily and healthy.

my mom and i watched the movie 2012 in Robinsons Metro East, i only get 3 hours of sleep then she woke me up, i must say that im a bit cranky that time heheh. what mellows me down is when we get to the mall and get the tickets for the movie. im excited to finally view it, what is fun about movie watching is the next attraction set of movies, im looking forward to the movie of Angelina Jolie, SALT and another interesting movie is LEGION. when we saw the advisory that they are freezing the 2012 movie due to piracy, my heart beats faster. the first part of it, gets me confuse, picture of Mona Liza, that they are somehow preserving it. of course as the scenes are building up, it made me realize that John Cusack and Danny Glover are the only actors i know from the castings. apparently, the movie do not need superstars like the casts of oceans 11-13 to be able to execute it well. the storyline is simple, all about survival, but the intensity plus convincing graphic animations, make me admire the makers of 2012. this is the same way that i felt when we watched Titanic in big screen. the story reminds me of Noah's ark, animals, people, valuable treasures are preserved. its a happy ending though for the survivors and that they are beginning a whole new world in Africa. nabitin lang ako ng konti, as i was expecting more mind boggling scenes from the movie, overall i like it, this is something that we can play over and over.

survival is a very nice concept, aside from the movie that emphasizes it vividly, we are surviving everyday. we survived from potential tragedies, climate change, dangerous incidents, even surviving at workplace. oh yes, that has to be included, in a world or recession, we're anticipating a lot of adjustments, job rotations, monetary fluctuations but what makes me sick is mismanagement. this has been an ongoing issue right before global recession. its sickening to know that we are hands tight at work, we no longer enjoy the times together and when u get tired thats the time that u decide to find happiness somewhere else.

kung ikaw ay isang boss na sawang sawa na sa pagmumukha ng mga empleyado mo at dahil sabe ng labor code na bawal magpatalsik ng tao kung wla kang basehan, u want them out without feeling any guilt inside, eto ang mga pwede mong gawin at pupusta ako matapos ang isang linggo mag isa ka na lang sa floor ninyo.

1. Make some drastic and idiotic changes on the organization. Ang dating one hour break, gawin mong 30 minutes. hahanapan mo sila ng kung anong inimbento mo lang na report, tapos sisihin mo sila pag hinde nila nagawa ng tama. create unusual nonsensical processes hanggang mabaliw, patayin mo sila sa inis, put too much stress on them...in other words, bwisitin mo sila!

2. Up for negativity. Pag nakakaksabay mo sa elevator, sa restroom or khit sa labas, remind them how inefficient they are sa kumpanya. Tell them na ang reports or projects na ginawa nila ay hinde man lang pinag isipan ng husto, banggitin mo rin na nasasayangan ka sa oras na ginugol nila duon. Make them feel that they are unfit for the job. Patayin mo sa guilt hanggang layasan ka nila.

3. Chismis travels faster than announcements. NBA2K10 gets the slam dunk

weekends is fun time for me, i get a chance to glance for the first time the NBA2K10 after hearing a lot of things about it, i must say that i am fascinated with it. you may want to check the system requirements below if this will work on your laptop and pcs as well. surprisingly, this works well with my MSI laptop, no lags nor hanging up after doing a dry run for more than 10 hours. (see im already hooked, hehehe)

this release is indeed so far the best graphic NBA game i have ever played since 1999, with its in-depth player customizations, you would not want to stop playing. this is a much awaited version celebrating 10 years of NBA games. i am amazed by the details like camera scenes, court details, shadows, game types including the music selection...just very awesome. if there is one thing that givies me a hard time, is earning skill points for the created player, heheh...ohh yes u can customize ur own player and include it in the NBA-D League!

overall, im giving this 4.3 out of 5. developers know what gamers need. :D

id like to believe that being a Mafia is not that hard. you can be on your own, when you start to manipulate people with the extreme power and resources given to you. lets take for instance the case of a friend who experienced the power of this beast, getting what he wants, living you lifeless when you oppose him.

benevolent assimilation - this is the method he is using. u wont even know that its there, uve been attacked without a warning, ur only choice is to move away or kiss his ass, and of course u wont be doing the latter. uve lost the battle, lost the resources, while the beast is laughing. he will even allow u to kiss his ring, yet tomorrow ul be dead.

no imagination - the difference between a human and this beast is that this one does not have an imagination to really look at what is more important, shallow, brain dead and a total sucker. this Don wants to prove that he is the best, considering that the only person he leads is himself, his capones and strikers are not convinced about his power. he is nothing really when you take away his people.

ruthless - since the Don is the real beast, he wouldnt care about anything, he would like to be protected all the time, but he does not know how to protect others, in fact, he is the one causing damage to people. he will hire someone to kill his own relative, in that way he is off the hook. he can kill u with a knife on your throat, he can use shoot a gun in your face, he doesnt care about anyone. he is living for himself.

i realized that the beast is everywhere, he or she maybe someone u know, ur neighbor, ur boss or a complete stranger. no matter how stuck u are, u gotta live with them, u gotta survive or they will eat u alive. beware of this people who wants to buy ur own soul, trust me they are just around u.

2012 - the end of days?

hinde lang siguro ako ang excited na mapanood ang movie na 2012, na pinagbibidahan ni John Cusack, Danny Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Thandie Newton and a whole lot more. i know that you have seen the first teaser trailer showing a gigantic tsunami over Himalayas, at dahil dyan maraming kuro kuro ang nabubuo sa makontrobersyang pelikulang ito. hinde ko masasabeng science ang paborito kong subject pero pag heavenly bodies ang pinag uusapan, naamaze ako sa mga posibleng mangyari. the story is about the galactic alignment that will lead to earth's doomsday, gravitational pull that could misplace the positioning of the heavenly bodies and geomagnetic reversal that could create a massive solar flare (na inintroduce na sa movie ni nicholas cage na Knowing). i think they based the movie on the Mayan calendar supporting Nostradamus and Jenkins speculation/hypotheses about this phenomenon.

some would call it as the end of days. with these overflowing inputs about the end of the world, gumawa pa sila ng study about that. Eschatology, yan ang tawag nila. ang mga matuturing na skolar sa pag-aaral na to ay hanggang ngayon tumutuklas pa rin ng ibat ibang reperensya to support their studies. naku ang saket sa ulo, pero para saken, no intelligent mind can predict when its gonna happen. it will put all of us in surprise. well, we will find out if chika lang yang 2012 na yan, parang millenium bug. at sa tradisyon ng mga pinoy na nakukuha pang tumawa sa panahon ng sakuna, makukuha pa kaya ng ilan na kumuha ng picture habang lumalaglag ang fireballs from heaven? hahaa, nakakatawang isipin, but giving it some serious thoughts, we dont know when it will happen, how and who we are with pag nangyari un. baka hinde na rin naten makasama ang pamilya naten lalo na kung nasa trabaho tayo ng time na un. naiisip mo rin ba, what is the survival's ratio if ever may mabubuhay during that time. sino sino naman ung mapapalad na un if ever, wahehe teka nadadala ako ng mapaglaro kong isip.

if ever totoo man un, we still have 2 more years to do our shits diba so pwede na, hehee. but seriously ill watch this, dahil tingen ko meron ng tatabla sa record ng Titanic. Kaya pumila ka na sa pinakamalapit na sinehan sa Nov. 13, 2009, oist reserba mo ko ah!
